Entrance Exams

Medical entrance exams in India are highly competitive and serve as the gateway to pursuing undergraduate (MBBS, BDS) and postgraduate (MD, MS) medical courses. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is the only exam for admission to MBBS and other medical courses in government and private colleges across the country. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET-UG evaluates candidates based on their knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from the 10+2 syllabus. For postgraduate medical courses, the NEET-PG, conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), is required for admissions to MD and MS programs. Additionally, the INI-CET exam, conducted by AIIMS New Delhi, is mandatory for entry into prestigious institutes like AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, and NIMHANS. These exams are highly competitive, requiring rigorous preparation and a strong academic foundation. Success in these entrance tests opens doors to a career in medicine, allowing students to contribute to healthcare and medical advancements in India and beyond.
