Admission Process

• PESU gives admission to 40% of its seats in undergraduate courses based on candidates' performance in Karnataka CET and 60% of seats based on PESSAT (the university's entrance test) ranks.
• PESU also accepts students under the Management quota, which does not put any merit restrictions. There is a lateral entry mechanism in effect, via which students possessing diploma degrees can directly attend the second year in the engineering course.
• Students get accepted to postgraduate studies based on their GATE exam scores as well as on their Post Graduate Karnataka CET scores.

• Besides the aforesaid, PESU also gives admission to students under the NRI quota.

• The cost structure for PES University fluctuates every year, due to changing rules and regulations of the college/university and government laws.
